Heaton News - WB 9th October

Thorughout our curriculum we strive to enable our students to access the local community. In doing this students develop their communication, social interaction and independence skills.
At the Cheadle campus Ernie's class have been accessing Edgley library. The group practice their awareness and understanding of road safety when walking to there. Once at the Library the group enjoy choosing books to read, either alone or within a group.
Nicola's class have been accessing the local cafe this week. They have started to become well known with the Heaton Moor locals!!
Sickness - It appears we have a Diarreah and sickness bug going around the school this week. If your Son or daughter has any related symptoms we advise that you keep your child away from school until they are unsymptomatic. Our policy is that student have 48 hours clear before returning to school. We appreciate your support with this as we are trying our best to ensure that infection is reduced for both students and staff.
