Where opportunities arise our curriculum is designed to give students an insight into different cultures and to celebrate diversity throughout the school. This week students from Helen and Nicolas class have been learning about chinese new year through taking part in a shadow puppet show depicting the story of the animal race.

On Thursday some of Holly's class had the opportunity to visit the sensory room at Manchester City. The informal pathway focusses heavily on accessing the community safely and experiencing a range of opportunities. Charlie, Yazan and Cameron were fantastic representatives of Heaton School.
