Reading is an important part of our curriculum. Sensory stories are a tool that engages individuals , allowing them to explore narratives through tactile, auditory, and olfactory experiences. These immersive narratives utilise a variety of sensory prompts to bring stories to life, fostering comprehension and creating memorable learning opportunities. Sensory stories offer a unique and enriching approach to storytelling, promoting inclusivity and enhancing engagement for all learners. This week Brydies class enjoyed a sensory story outside in the sunshine this afternoon. The story was linked to the theme of chinese new year.
