Forest school is now established as an essential part of our curriculum offer at Heaton school. This year Kyle (our Forest school and Outdoors speciailist) is teaching forest school lessons throughout all stages. This week students have been involved in making Ooger boogers and conker people!!!

Rebound

Students within our sensory strand of the curriculum have a weekly rebound session. Whilst offering opportunities to integrate individual students physio programmes, this also proves to be a great lesson where students develop their social interaction and communication skills.

Cheadle

Every Thursday Class 5EF have been going out to litter pick as part of our Duke of Edinburgh Award. Students are becoming more conscious about the environment and are enjoying helping the community keep the streets of Cheadle Heath cleaner. Work based learning in action!
