This year we are so fortunate to have Omni Music come into school on Monday mornings. Omni music use Assistive Music Technology (AMT) to enable young musicians to make and play music in ambitious, imaginative and creative ways. Throughout the year all our students will get a chance to participate in music making projects giving everyone an opportunity to be creative and enjoy the social aspects of group musical activities. Students will also get a chance to take part in both school performances and performances collaborating with other schools.

Two of our classes have been launching their class enterprises this week. 4YC are taking orders and making toasties for the school community and SAK launched their Ice cream bar titled the 'Blue Abys'. Enterprise is a key element to work related learning sessions in key stage 4 and 5. We look forward to sharing on the successes of these ventures whilst also sharing what other groups get up to.

Also on Wednesday we hosted our first sports event of the year within the school hall. Well done to all students who took part! It is always great to partner with other schools within Stockport.

PTA meeting 

We are holding our first Parents & Teachers Association (PTA) meeting of the year next week at 7pm on Tuesday 3rd October at the main school site. All parents & carers are very welcome!
