Heaton news - WB 19th June

This week we have celebrated National School Sports Week. Every morning we started the day with a whole school walk in the school grounds. Our students have had the opportunity to take part in and explore a wide range of sports from rugby to zumba dancing.  Every sport, every session, was planned out with different stations for students to have the freedom to choose what they wanted to do, practice the different skills needed for such sport, and (most importantly) have fun! The main goal of this week was to get our students active, involved, engaged and having a great time together.... that has certainly been achieved!

Further to Jen's communication via classdojo this week - End of year prom is now on the rearranged date of Tuesday 18th July 6-9pm. Details will follow. Also, year 14 leavers assembly for families will be taking place on Tuesday 25th July at 1.30pm. This will be a great time to celebrate progress and achievement over the past few years and it will be great if you can attend!
