Heaton news - WB 13th Oct

We have a number of students at Heaton school who benefit from the intervention/ support provided from the Stockport Sensory Support Service. Pam O'Neil is our Sensory Support teacher and provides advice, training and guidance to staff on how to effectively work with students with a visual impairment. Pam also delivers specific lessons working with the students as part of her time within the Heaton site of the school.

This week students from the Cheadle site have been accessing Chorlton park as part of their work based learning. During their time they are responsible for litter picking, tidying areas within the park and attending to duties as advised by the park ranger.
