What a week! You can safely say we've been busy!
On Monday all students took part in the community breakfast. This initiative enables students to join together to experience a 'mini food festival' in our very own school hall! Students learn about different cultures through tasting foods from different countries and cultures. Thanks to Amalia for arranging this event.
On Monday afternoon selected students from the Cheadle site honed their work based skills through helping out at Edgley Park,Stockport County to pack hampers that will be distributed to families in need over the coming few weeks.
Christmas never seems quite the same without a good old christmas dinner. A fine feast was laid on by our kitchen staff on Wednesday and students were treated to a surprise visit from Santa Claus, Mrs Claus and 2 very naughty elves!!!
Performing arts is a very important part to our Heaton curriculum. Wherever possible we love our students to be given wide opportunity to perform their work in front of an audience. Today (Friday) we were treated to a school performance of 'A Christmas Carol'. All classes took part through dance, movement, music and mime to tell the well known story 'a christmas carol'. All students were fantastic and we are very grateful to all parents and friends who attended.
I can't believe we are going into our final few days of a very succesful and busy term, Just a reminder that our last day of term is this coming Wednesday 21st December.
Have a lovely weekend everyone!
