Heaton news WB 6th Oct

Today Students at the main Heaton site were treated to visits to the Zen Den. The Zen Den was temporarily housed within the drama room where a variety of different stimulating and sensory activities were on offer to enable students to regulate and to appreciate the importance of wellbeing. This was in recognition of today being World Mental Health day

One of many strengths to our curriculum is learning that takes place in the community. Whether it's going to the park, accessing Heaton Moor, going to the local Library or using the public bus. Our students gain valuable experience from these ventures. Here are some pictures from some adventures our students have been on this week...
