Heaton news - WB 30th Sept

Date: 27th Sep 2024 @ 5:20pm

It is always great that our students get wide opportunities to collaborate with children from other schools. One way to do this is to collaborate with Stockport SHAPES alliance. This initiative provides us with the opportunity for our students to engage in different sporting activities throughout the year mixing in with students from other schools. On Wednesday we hosted the first of many events this year for the Boccia event. Well done to all students who took part.

Food bank collection

We are having another foodbank collection with the aim of students being able to take our contributions to the foodbank centre in Hazel Grove, Stockport. In the week beggining 7th October we are asking parents /carers to send in any of the following:

Thankyou in anticipation for your kind contributions.

Today we say our farewell to Gemma who has been a TA at Heaton school for 18 months. Gemma has been a great TA for us and we wish her every success in her future. Gemma is planning to travel to Australia and then pursue her career goal as a psychologist.
