Heaton news - WB 27th January
Date: 31st Jan 2025 @ 11:35am
Wherever possible we take every opportunity to work in partnership with other organisations. The Shapes alliance is a sports organisation that promotes schools working together. This week students from Heaton went along to Stockport school to take part in a boccia competition. All students took part in the activities and it was great to see them interacting with students from other schools. Each student was awarded with a certificate at the end of the session. Also, some students from Valley school came across to the Heaton site on Wednesday to take part in playing boccia.
Heaton site access
From this coming week the main school gates will be closed from 10am - 2.30pm. If you are dropping off and/or collecting your child between these times please call the school in advance and arrangements can be made for access. Alternatively we are doing our best to ensure that the layby outside of school is kept clear so that you can park close to the front entrance in school.
Medication within school
Just a reminder If your child requires medication to be adminstered within school please can you ensure that communication is made with your assigned class teacher prior to sending the medication into school.
