Date: 28th Mar 2025 @ 4:39pm

We are fortunate to have a team of Occupational Therapists at Heaton school who help to deliver therapy programmes through delivering sessions to classes. This week Elles class enjoyed their session where they practiced mark mark making using cornflour and paint. Fun was had by all!

Colins class have continued the development of communication and social interaction skills through promoting positive working as part of a group. They have been working together to make their own giant version of snakes and ladders. This week the board was completed and they enjoyed playing their first game in class together.

Outdoor learning - All our students have an opportunity to learn keyskills through participating in outdoor activities. Holly's class went on a class visit to the park this week. Students were able to practice some excellent turn taking and sharing opportunities for our students. Students from Helens, Terries and Hollys class have been enjoying playing lunchtime games in the playground and finally, many students have enjoyed learning in the school forest school area.
