Heaton news - WB 23rd March

Date: 27th Mar 2026 @ 4:18pm

The past two weeks has been a true celebration of diveristy! On Tuesday some of our students enjoyed an Eid party. They were able to dance to music, eat food and join in with Eid related arts and crafts.Students at the Cheadle site chose to paint Eid cards to take home to their families to celebrate the end of the holy month of Ramadan. Some students also learnt about St Patricks day.

Today (Friday) ,students also enjoyed the easter themed activities. They took part in an egg hunt and there was a themed easter room that students could access to explore the meaning of easter. The day culminated in an easter themed assembly where some students paraded their easter creations. We even had a guest appearance from a rabbit and a chick!! A huge thanks to Nuffield Health for donating the easter eggs for this event. The remaining eggs have been distributed to the Message food grocery at Wythenshawe.
