Heaton news - WB 23rd June

Date: 26th Jun 2025 @ 9:22pm

Sensory engagement is a very important part of our preformal curriculum. This week Brydies class have been enjoying the challenge of engaging in the sensory story about the Polar Bear! Students practice their intensive interaction whilst engaging in sensory exploration.

Cheadle students have been working hard towards their Duke of Edinburgh award. They have been raising money by making chocolates and creating their own labels. They hope to sell their product in the coming weeks. Other Post 16 students have also been practicing their work based skills through making products to sell. Nicola's class have been making mars bar cakes to sell at the breaktime tuck shop. All students have enjoyed this project and they have improved in being able to carry out tasks working independently.
