The final week of term is always filled with mixed emotions but it's safe to say that it has been busy!
On Tuesday this week all students joined in with an 'olympic themed' sports day. Students took part in a range of olympic/ paralympic sports ranging from boccia, football, badminton and judo!! It was great to see students challenging themselves in trying new sports and fun was had by all.
Yesterday we welcomed familys and friends to our leavers assembly. This was a lovely occasion to celebrate our students who are leaving us to go on to further their education in 19-25 provision. We are so proud of all of our leavers and we wish them every success in the future. We are also very thankful to all families for their ongoing support of school. Please stay in touch and you are always more than welcome to visit us!
Today the wider school said our goodbyes to not only our leavers but a number of staff members too. Yasmin (3YC teacher) is going on maternity leave, Donna and Shauna are leaving to take up positions in other schools and Jonathan(our Headteacher) who is taking up the role of Headteacher at his new school from September onwards. After 5 years as Headteacher we wish him every success in the future and I am sure he will keep in touch with us.
And finally...
Occupational Therapy have provided some information linked to summer holidays (see attached file)
We look forward to welcoming our students back to school on Wednesday 4th September and hope you have a great summer. Thankyou for your ongoing support over the past year.
