Another busy half term complete! Our immersive drama room is a valuable resource which provides widened scope for our students learning experiences. This term our preformal students have been using the room to explore the 'animals and habitats' theme, whilst also enaging in sensory activities.

Goofus Arts Heaton School Performance Day - Wednesday 4th June

You may recall over this term that Goofus arts have been working with our students on a puppetry project on the second world war: living in Manchester theme. This half term there is an opportunity for all students and their familiies to attend the air raid shelters for some special performances laid on by Goofus arts. Discover stories hidden beneath Stockport. Journey into the tunnels with the mystical Watchman to find stories told through puppetry & music. Follow Lucy on a journey & venture with our ancestors on a nomadic quest through time.You are more than welcome to come and join us on Wednesday 4th June...

Where: Stockport Air Raid Shelters.
Timings of Performances: 10.30am / 11.30am & 2pm.
Cost: Free!

FamJam - take a look at the attached flyer for an opportunity for families and friends to access an inclusive music workshop. The first of 4 events is on 8th June.

Parents consultation meetings will be taking place on Wednesday 18th June from 2-6pm. Communication has been sent out to all parents this week so slots can be booked to meet teachers.
