Another great week at Heaton School!
It was great to hear that families enjoyed going to the Derby match between Utd and City last week. A huge thankyou to the Manchester City schools coaching team for donating the tickets.
Post 16 - Cheadle site update
Students are working towards their Duke of Edinburgh awards within Terrie's class. They have been learning about the life cycle of a plant and what it needs to be healthy. This week, everyone in the class has planted their own seed, following a visual timeline, demonstrating great independence and good sequencing skills. For their community visit this week they visited Notcutts Garden Centre in Ashton.
Reminder - Inset day
Next Friday (28th November) is an INSET day so school will be closed for all students.

Thursday 11th December - Inclusive Carol Service 5-7pm, Heaton School site
All students and families are invited into our first ever school carol service (with a difference). More details will follow!
There will be an opportunity for students to explore different aspects of the christmas story through crafts, music and sensory exploration. There will be a chance at the end of the evening to sing and sign some carols and festive songs and to enjoy refreshments.
