Heaton news - WB 16th Oct

It was great to see a great turn out to our Parents Well being coffee morning today. Members of the Speech and Language Therapy team spoke to parents about their service. Special thanks to Fatima and Lanelye from Cheadle who helped to serve the refreshments. More details will follow of other such events.

We are always so appreciative of support from other organisations. This week we received a generous donation from Fresh of £70 to be used to provide snacks for students at break time.

On Wednesday we joined as a school community to celebrate Sam's life. Our colourful banners, bubbles and balloons paved the way for Students, friends, families and staff to mark their respect as Sam passed by school. The funeral was such a celebration of life and Sam will be missed so much in and around school. Our thoughts and ongoing support is with Sam's family at this time.
