Heaton News - WB 11th Dec
Date: 14th Dec 2023 @ 9:18pm
It's been yet another busy week at Heaton school! Firstly, a huge thanks to all the parents and carers who came to support our students as they performed 'The Polar Express'. All students made a positive contribution to what was a memorable and succesful performance. Special thanks goes to Lucy, our very own performing arts teacher who has worked with our students within lessons over the past few weeks. Today's performance was recorded to evidence the students work and will contirbute to students work towards the arts award - a qualification that all our students get an opportunity to work towards whilst at Heaton school.
On Wednesday lunchtime students enjoyed the annual christmas dinner. Santa and one of his elves even made an appearance!
On Wednesday mornng students in Forest school were treated to a visit from 'The Owl man'. Students enjoyed interacting with three different owls and learnt about these amazing animals along the way! He also brought in a skunk that seemed to attract alot of intrigue and attention.
And finally....
A quick reminder that Friday 22nd December is our last day of term. We will be returning on Monday 8th January.
