Year 7 & COVID Catch Up Premium
At Heaton we have worked hard to keep the school open to as many students as possible throughout the pandemic.
The school has plans in place to utilise the Catch up Grant on targeted sessions for students both in school and after school in the Summer Term 2022.
These will include Hydrotherapy and Warm water sessions that were not possible during the pandemic. Rebound therapy sessions, Forest School Sessions, Communication Club, Art Club and a youth club at the Cheadle Campus. These sessions will give us additional opportunities to provide students with additional social interaction, communication and to access areas of school that we were unable to use during the pandemic.
